Which one has your kid asked?

Tap a question for the short answer.

High-pressure carbon dioxide is added while the candy is made, so tiny bubbles stay trapped inside as it cools. Your saliva dissolves the candy, the bubbles expand — and it pops.

They aren't boiling. The tablet reacts with water and releases a rush of carbon dioxide, and the escaping bubbles only look like a boil. It's also why they should never go straight into your mouth.

Land iguanas aren't. The skin inside their mouths is unusually thick and their digestive systems handle the spines, so they eat the cactus anyway.

Toxins. Plants concentrate them in the leaves, fruit and stems most likely to be eaten — enough to cause real pain to an animal that tries.

The sourness is the point — it keeps animals away until the seeds are ready. As they mature, starch turns to sugar and the acids and tannins fade, so the fruit turns sweet and gets eaten and spread.

Cutting breaks open the cells, and enzymes inside meet the oxygen in the air. That reaction is what darkens the surface.

We Built This for the Kid

We Built This for the Kid Who Never Stops Asking.

There's a moment in every childhood when the questions stop — not because the child ran out of them, but because the answers ran out first.

We're not trying to make your child memorize facts. We're trying to give them the habit of wondering — and the confidence to go find out.

Because the smartest kids aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who never stop asking why.

NOT JUST ANOTHER FACT BOOK

Real Answers, Not Brush-Offs

Every question gets a proper explanation kids can actually follow — and repeat at dinner.

Illustrations They'll Stare At

Vivid, full-color pages that pull kids in long before they can read the words.

Built for Bedtime

One question per page. Read one, read ten — it works either way, every single night.

Grows With Them

Ages 5 to 12. Simple enough for a kindergartener, deep enough that parents keep learning too.
